Welcome! I’m SO excited to be joining in this amazing spring home tour hosted by my sweet friend Rachel from Shades of Blue Interiors and Country Living.
I decided that I would show you aound our Easter dining room today with some decorating ideas for your Easter tablescape. Our dining room is the first room that you see when you enter our home and is always the first place I start to decorate. I’ve collected quite a few white bunnies over the years, and most of them reside here during the spring.
Last week I showed you our sideboard with this free Happy Easter Printable. For this tour, I created a few more printables to coordinate with it – a printable Easter brunch or Easter dinner menu and Easter place cards. They’re a simple and inexpensive way to dress up your Easter table and I hope you enjoy them. You can find all of the free printables at the end of the post, so don’t forget to download them before you go.
For the menu, you can either print it out and write in your menu items or open it in a photo editing program {like PicMonkey or Photoshop} and add in whatever text you would like.
Since I took the Easter Printable from the sideboard, I printed out an 8×10 version to hang on the wall above our linen ladder.
The bunnies {and their carrots!} have also taken over our buffet and hutch. Since we have white dinnerwar, this area is really easy to dress up for the different holidays with just a few seasonal decorations and a little greenery.
My favorite thing to set up in the dining room is our seasonal beverage bar. Even in the spring, I still like my hot chocolate – and mini-eggs! All you need are a few bottles and these free printable Easter hot chocolate bar tags, and you’re all set.
This sweet little bunny pitcher guards over everything for me and is perfect for displaying some spring blooms.
I added my mini-Easter bunny bunting to the chalkboard for a little bunny flair. I just can’t get enough of those cute pom-pom bunny tails!
And, of course, you can’t have an Easter dining room without the dining table! I showed you a couple of spring tablescapes at the beginning of the week. With just a few additions, it easily transitioned to an Easter tablescape.
I found these mini carrots at one of my favorite local stores {Grandiflora if you happen to live in the area} and thought that they were so cute! I sprinkled some amongst the greenery on a wood board and added a few little white ceramic bunnies. If you look closely, there are also a couple of chocolate bunnies there too! For more information on the floral centrepiece, you can check out this post.
At each place setting, I used the Happy Easter printable to tie to a single tulip and placed it over these sweet bunny napkins.
I purchased some mini white buckets at the dollar store {they were 4 for a dollar} and filled them with mini eggs. Using a smaller version of the tags {I printed them as a 4×6}, I tied them to the handle with some pink baker’s twine to match the tulips.
To coordinate with the printable menu, I also created some place cards for you. Like with the menu, you can either add the names with a photo editing program or just write them in yourself.
Just use a paper trimmer to cut them, fold over, and trim off the bottom on the back fold.
Lastly, I just wanted to show you a couple of my salt and pepper shakers – I love collecting them for the different seasons!
This guy is my favorite – the carrot is the salt shaker and the bunny holds the pepper. He’s so fun.
