A Strikingly Updated Front Door and Foyer Makeover

A Strikingly Updated Front Door and Foyer Makeover

This is going to be a quick post as you will see where I am at the end When I shared photos of Lisa’s kitchen and family room renovation, the new front door was not in yet. Well, it is now!

Here is the entry before with the 80’s carved French doors and leaded glass, which doesn’t fit with the more modern California ranch style.

And now with Lisa’s new door, sidelights, Benjamin Moore white Dove paint, natural grass shades, her French pitchforks, railing and newly stained floors.

Sorry for the less than stellar photos. I found this vintage Turkish rug in another part of the house and promptly brought it in here.

This was a fun project with Jim Brovelli and awesome team. You can see more…

For a different homeowner…

I am waiting for the painting to be done before showing this family room makeover. But I did some quick coffee table styling last week when the sectional was being delivered. See that cute box? It’s on sale at West Elm. Buy the larger size and see if anyone will put the tv remotes away in it. One can dream.

I am at Disneyland’s Grand California hotel right now… 73-degree weather and that lady in the red shirt is taking drink orders!

We have to see the accountant tomorrow. But then we are celebrating my mama’s 93rd birthday in San Diego. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM!

And I will be reunited with Chief (who has been with our daughter in L. A. since before we went to Australia–four weeks). Here he is on Valentines Day. Man enough to rock that scarf.

Have a great weekend!
